Counterpoint

Counterpoint

An ego trip against myself
As I see your face
On the bed's edge
I like to watch you sleeping
Then morning begins
By the window
Reflecting your gorgeous face
The sun breaks into the room
"Good morning my lady"
It's always sunny here in Somalia
Nice place for a honeymoon
Abundant food, healthy people
And the higher technology of sewers sanitation
Of the new world
Tourists of all the planet
Miscegenation on new paved streets
Fiber optic internet
My lady was right
To extend the journey
Try not to go back where we came from
The greedy people and starveling poverty
Scared us out of there
I will never go back to Denmark
Not for a while...

Blind Race

Blind Race

Backscratcher of the old boss
They can tell when war starts and stops
Who won
Who lost

Run for atomic weapons reinforcement
Gathering allies for interest
Blood spilled for nothing
False investment

They said it stopped
With the falling walls
I wouldn't be so sure
Their blind race lure

Race against humanity
There is not much to left
As get closer to its final lap.

Music Metaphor

Music Metaphor

The doubt about your thoughts
Is what sustains or maybe frightens me

I wish I had the power of knowing
Or the sweet sound of an note that keeps echoing
Then flows on a markable chorus...

Meanwhile time comes to split us
Just for a glance...
As a solo on a pianoless counterpoint
The quartet's dance..

Until we meet again
Rhythm accent...

To guide life
Like glissing violins
Sometimes calm and slow
Or fast and wide...

Then have our bodies aside
Sharing that same starry sky

Pleasant song...
Accomplice story...
That it's up us to write.
