Complain

Complain

It's easy to complain
And let things like the same

That's a human way
For troubles run away

It's easy to complain
Waiting things by the tray
It`s like hunting a dead prey

Now, people who should complain
Are about to pray

For gods
For array

I stop and admire their brave
It's time for a goal to be traced.

Ocean Drive

Ocean Drive

Colorful lights
By her night

An amusing way
By her day

Restaurants and bars
Each one with their own theme and charm

Staring at the sea
The ocean drives me far.

Impressions of India

Impressions of India

By the stairs of Ganges river
I can see my face grow older

At a crowded marketplace
Sacred animals and people
Rushes together to the same way

By the fragrance of spices
That travels world away

The sound of sitar
By Ravi Shankar
Echoes through the place
Where Mahatma lived once

That's the India I have in mind
A place full of pride.

Texan Guitar

Texan Guitar

I got a Texan guitar
And it works really well for me

Its fancy and shiny plate
And her old-fashioned style
Reminds me when the good music were here

Once I played it
I just could not leave it

Her unmistakable strings
Took me to places I`ve never been

I got a Texan guitar
And packed on my back
It tells me where I must be.

Seagulls

Seagulls

Their noise sounds good to me
Relaxing like massager seat

I wish I could reach as high as they can
I wish I could see from their point of view

Rambling at the bay side
I see them afar
Playing with the cruise ships
Looking for food

I stop and stare
It changes my mood

Now I can back to work
See you here at noon.

Nassau On Rain

Nassau on rain

Rain drops smashing against the crystal water
Tourists filling up the 12-seat cab vans
All rushing towards to Atlantis
That here, emerges overwater

The local music competes with the smooth jazz
That plays along at a crowed coffee shop

It`s showering outside
The rain falls
The ocean turns wild

But I am in Nassau
My eternal paradise.

Puzzle

Puzzle

I got a puzzle that I can`t finish
Like routine troubles
Unsolved during a life

I got a puzzle that pursues me
Like a cobra hunts a lizard
In the sands of time

And puzzle by those puzzles
I will be
Until the end of world arrive!

Working For Nothing

Working for nothing

Working for nothing
Now that’s what all we mean to do

Working for nothing
While we sweat
They don’t regret
All the s**t
They have done

And if it keep rushing through this way
They’ll keep resting
And we working… for nothing.

Grey

Grey

World is grey

And even though
We say that one day
They will survey

Maybe they don’t know what awaits them
If they do
They had changed their route

To another way
More “human”
Less grey.

Jam

Jam

For soul, and from it
That’s what jams propose

Like time travels that nobody knows
They come and go

And as it goes
You feel like other man

In body and soul
That’s what jams propose.

2012

2012

When I heard about the fact
I just can’t avoid saying
2012 my a**

All that media preview
Only will end up as lunatic-future-views
And what we all pretend to not know,
That the end is happening

And we won’t need gypsy hand-readers
To tell us the day and time

That’s why I can’t avoid saying
2012 my a**.

Metropolis

Metropolis

Breathing carbon gas twenty four hours a day
This is metropolis

Living against higher decibels of traffic noise
This is metropolis

Get surrounded by garbage and wrong social being
This is metropolis

Felling in a grey and dark picture pose
This is metropolis

But a fellow at the avenue, reading his book
Sitting on the grass, smiling and waiting for a crowded bus

This is living with metropolis.

Circles

Circles

Rounding in circles
I refresh my soul
Poor men, knows that troubles will be solved by his own

Rich men, pays some fancy lawyer
And gets far from the “bomb”

Keep rounding in circles
Then I get dizzy

How can we have such many differences
On the same f*** species?

Holiday Interrupted

Holiday Interrupted

Holiday at the hills
Or maybe on the countryside
What really matters,
Is to be some miles from disturb issues of a mind

From the window, the lake stood still
Inside the room, by the fire side
Sitting on the grandpa’s armchair
A man asks himself, why should not pull the trigger?

As he did it, his soul felt a relief
By the stereo, Miles “All Blues” solo keeps playing
Woods keeps burning
The lake, keeps glistening the moon above

While the poor and coward young fella
Trade his holiday for a one way ticket to Limbo
Where nowadays is being almost overpopulated.

Green Path

Green Path

When I die
I’ll just ask for a green path
Full of bright white stones
That will guide the way to my grave

Maybe grey, the color, will fill up the picture

When some are crying up there
Others are just happy and relived
To be saying good bye to this whole barbárie

But for now, that’s what I have in mind.

Flag

Flag

The flag that symbolizes the peace
Is resting down in our old and dusty chest

Peace, is now being extinct
And sooner or later, not even flags and parades

Will be necessary to avoid
The end of human race.

Old Lady In The Basement

Old Lady in the Basement

An old lady in the basement
Works hard, like a camel in the desert

Her sad and tired eyes
Resumes the world actual situation

She seems to be young
But society, again, just arrested one of us
To be a servant

And live stuck on a basement
Or maybe in our own disable minds.

Fake Ads

Fake Ads

The world pretends and bails us
Like fake ads

While our money is used
As toilet paper by the multinational bosses

Starving people are begging for just one nickel
To feed their children’s hungry mouth

And finally, I sit down here
And ask myself about years that should not come.
